Overview
Sweeply is an iPhone cleanup app that helps you review media such as large videos, screenshots, and similar photos. The app is designed to perform photo review on your device and to avoid unnecessary data collection.
This first release does not include an advertising SDK, an ad consent form, cross-app tracking, a user account system, or cloud photo processing.
Information We Process
When you grant Photos access, Sweeply can inspect the photos and videos that iOS makes available to the app. Depending on your permission choice, this may include your full Photos library or only the selected items you allow through Limited Photos access.
Sweeply may process media metadata and derived signals on your device to support cleanup features. This can include item type, duration, pixel dimensions, file size when available through public iOS APIs, timestamps, favorite status, and local comparison signals used to group review candidates.
Photos Stay On Your Device
Sweeply does not upload your photo library, thumbnails, asset identifiers, feature vectors, faces, filenames, or location metadata to a server for analysis. Cleanup review is handled locally on your iPhone.
If a future version adds any server-based feature, this policy should be updated before that version is released.
Cleanup Actions
Sweeply does not automatically delete your media. You choose items to review, stage a selection, and confirm before items are moved through Photos.
Items moved by Photos are placed in Recently Deleted first when supported by iOS. You can recover them there until Photos permanently removes them or until you manually delete them from Recently Deleted.
Device Insights
Sweeply may show local device, storage, battery, performance, and network status using public iOS APIs. These insights are presented to help you understand device state and are not used for fingerprinting or cross-app tracking.
Analytics, Ads, and Tracking
- Advertising: this first release does not include an advertising SDK.
- Ad tracking: Sweeply does not track you across apps or websites.
- Remote analytics: the current first-release build does not send product analytics events to a remote analytics service.
- Accounts: Sweeply does not require you to create an account.
Data Stored On Your Device
Sweeply may store app settings and cleanup history on your device, such as completed cleanup sessions and local preferences. This helps the app show truthful stats and preserve your choices.
Third-Party Services
The first no-ads release uses third-party app code dependencies only where needed for app functionality and layout. It does not include Google Mobile Ads or Google User Messaging Platform in the release path.
Your Choices
- You can grant, deny, or limit Photos access in iOS Settings.
- If you grant Limited Photos access, you can change the selected items through iOS photo access controls.
- You can delete the app to remove app-local settings and records stored with the app.
- You control final deletion from Photos Recently Deleted.
Children's Privacy
Sweeply is not intended to collect personal information from children. The app does not include account registration or cloud photo upload in this first release.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes. If a future version adds accounts, cloud processing, advertising, subscriptions, or analytics, this policy should be revised before release.
